SUMMARY
It was a pleasant day in the Mystic Forest until the Faerie Guardian Duvessa stumbled upon an injured deer. Concerned, she called for someone nearby to come help the deer, since she could not communicate with animals. Luckily Fiera, the forest's very skilled army Commander and warrior heard the call and came to her friend's aid. Fiera's ability to speak with animals allowed her to gather that the dragons had attacked the deer.
Fiera immediately sprang into action and assembled her troops for battle. The battle was fierce but in the end Fiera and Duvessa managed to take down the attacking dragon with the help of the forest's army. Duvessa was injured but sought the healing wisdom of Granny Oak and recovered. Unfortunately, with victory came a hefty death toll and a Farewell Ceremony took place that evening with Brona at the Mourning Tree.
A new faerie villager by the name of Kevin arrived. He has magical abilities through the rare flute that he plays. Seeing the distress of the Farewell Ceremony, he decided to play his music but this only enfuriated Fiera and Duvessa, who took it as a sign of disrespect for the dead. A brave warrior by the name of Tharion was quick to defend his commander in the matter.
Later on, Fiera went searching for Kevin. She was intrigued by his strange ways and wanted to invite him to play his flute at the Midsummer's Eve festival coming up. Kevin happily agreed, but asked Fiera for help controlling and strengthening his magic. Fiera only has basic magical abilities and she told Kevin to seek the help of Duvessa.
Eager to learn how to gain control over his magic, Kevin immediately went to Duvessa for help. Despite the Guardian's attempts at teaching the younger faerie, Duvessa's magic did not stem from books and studying, like Kevin's. Unable to assist him further, she sent Kevin to Granny Oak who would be more able to help him than her or Fiera.
Soon, the Midsummer's Eve festival arrived, but there was trouble at Lake Siren. A young merwoman by the name of Alaina's father had been viciously attacked by the dragons and she sought the help of the nearest land dweller, who happened to be Fiera. Unable to understand Mermish, Fiera sent for Duvessa who was fluent in the language. Kevin was nearby and offered his healing abilities but it was too late to save the merman. Alaina was devastated but received her father's gift of a medallion that would allow her to walk on land and converse with land dwellers. Desperate to avenge her father's death, she enlisted in Fiera's army, but the elf and merwoman did not get along well at all.
After Kevin's performance at the Midsummer's Eve Festival, he was taken to the Black Dragon which was a large stone statue in the wilds of the forest. The dragons came to him and told him that he could have whatever he wanted if he helped them by breaking the statue. Unable to resist, Kevin obliged and a terrible fury was released upon the forest with the most gruesome dragon attack in over a century.
Fiera assembled her troops quickly but they were no match for this sort of attack. Preparing to sacrifice her life in order to save her forest, Fiera jumped straight into the line of fire to get a closer shot at the largest dragon. The dragon severely injured her with one swipe of its claws. Horrified, Tharion abandoned his post to aid her and the dragons completely annihalated the entire forest, killing nearly everyone.
Enfuriated with Tharion for abandoning his post, Fiera banished him but Duvessa used her authority to recall the banishment which put a strain on their friendship.
Kevin had been taken to the dragons' lair where he had become part dragon himself. While his mind wasn't being corrupted, he reached out to Fiera's mind and told her that they were planning to attack again before the next moon. The dark side took over Kevin before he finished warning her and he revealed that the dragons were planning on killing both her and Tharion, due to their unspoken love for each other.
In a desperate attempt to keep Tharion safe, she instated him as temporary commander. He would train the army well for the next attack while being protected within the forest and when the battle came about, Fiera would hopefully be well enough to fight in his place. This only solidified Duvessa's suspicions of her friend's feelings for Tharion.
Kevin was released from the dragon den and taken in by the Guardians for questioning. He was then taken to Fiera where he asked Granny Oak to find a ritual to remove the dragon part of him from his body before it completely took over him. Duvessa came up with the idea of dragon's blood, which would extract infections and poisons. There were plenty of dead dragons after the battle and since faeries have trouble taking dragon's blood, it was decided that Tharion would be the best person to carry out the task.
Currently, Fiera is trying to think of a way to fight in Tharion's place in order to protect him. Duvessa is helping Granny Oak look for a way to detach the dragon part of Kevin and Kevin is struggling between good and evil.
THE STORY
The Mystic Forest is a forest on the border of the Fae and Human worlds, so here beings and creatures of both worlds mingle with each other as they please. Tiny villages are scattered throughout the forest where some Mystic Creatures and Humans have decided to live in peace. There is large body of water known as Siren Lake in the middle of the forest where the a clan of Merpeople and water nymphs have settled as well as other water creatures. The roleplay starts when word is just getting through the forest that Evil Dragons from Fae have crossed over and are starting to destroy the forest and all who will not side with them.
