As Maia was lead into the Healing Tree she bit her lip, she wasn't sure what to make of the faerie that had quickly flown at the door as they came in. Maia took a seat near a window.
"I'm - I'm Maia," she said finally. "A tree nymph."
Maia was glad it was a nymph that had found her and not someone else. Granny Oak offered Maia some tea but Maia declined and seemed to just want to sit quietly and look out the window for the time being.

When Autumn first saw Commander Fiera the first thing that came to mind was;
'Do as she says or you might as well feed yourself to the dragons.'
The elf she had asked about Commander Fiera had said she was in a good mood, if this was her good mood Autumn would be glad never to find out what she was like in a bad mood.
"I'd like to help out in the battle, in any way I can," Autumn explained. Autumn stopped fluttering and just stood infront of her. She thought that perhaps the sound of her wings constantly fluttering would grow to be annoying. Autumn didn't want to get on the wrong side of Commander Fiera before she had even started to help out.

Fiera scrutinized the faerie intensely for a moment. "Do you have a name or am I to call you faerie for all time?" Fiera inquired, again a little harshly. The faerie revealed herself to be Autumn and Fiera nodded, looking her up and down, sizing her up.
"Hmmm... well, you look fairly strong. Are you more proficient with spell-casting, arial attacks, range combat or hand to hand combat?" she asked. When Autumn gave her a confused look, Fiera sighed and rubbed her temples in exhasperation. "Spell-casting involves magic. My spell casters use both defensive and offesive magic in order to fight, no combat involved. Arial attacks use a mixture of magic and combat in the air, usually done with range weapons. Range combat is done from the ground using spears and arrows, and rarely uses magic but in some cases is accepted. Hand to hand combat is strictly using your fists and brute strength to fight, no magic or range weapons involved." she explained rather quickly, growing impatient.
"Commander Fiera, I broke my spear again!" Tharion's voice rang out. Fiera whirled around, exasperated.
"Tharion, I am about this close from making you purchase every single weapon you brake. Toss that spear into the rubbish pile and grab another one from the armoury!" she snapped. Tharion bowed quickly.
"Yes Commander." he told her, immediately carrying out her orders. Tharion was the strongest warrior she had apart from herself. The problem was he became so determined in what he was doing that it often resulted in damaged weaponry. Shaking her head, Fiera turned backto Autumn.
"Well, you show potential at least." she said grudgingly. "Take some time to choose which style of fighting you prefer and report back here tomorrow. Truth be told, you look much too weakened to train at all today. Rest and then return first thing in the morning. Be warned... I detest tardiness." she said threateningly before continuing her training. As Autumn went to walk off, Tharion caught up to her and gave a friendly wink.
"Well, you made it out of her clutches alive. She must really like you." he told her with a hearty laugh. "I'm Tharion by the way." he told her with a firm handshake.

"I hope so or I may not survive another day," Autumn replied. "I'm Autumn."
Autumn decided to take Fiera's advice and get some rest, but here would not be the best of places.
"I'm going to go now, Don't want to be late tomorrow," Autumn said as she turned around and fluttered away much more slowly then she had that morning trying to get here.
It wasn't long before Autumn found a nice breezy area she could sit down and rest for a while at. The breeze tugged at her hair and while Autumn thought she made a few leaves dance in the wind. She narrowed her choice down to two but which would she be better at.

Maia stopped looking out the window and watched Granny Oak wander around doing odds and bobs. Maia stood up and followed her around.
"Granny Oak what am I supposed to do?"Maia began awkwardly. "I've been forced from where I live an have no idea where any other nymphs are."
Maia sat down again at the table after saying that. She was totally confused and had no idea what to do.

Duvessa sat under the willow tree of the Forest Guardians, she was waiting for the other so they could discuss what to do when the dragons next attacked. Sighing, Duvessa looked up at the ole withered yet strong tree.
"What chance do we have when our numbers are small and powers limited?" she whispered seemingly to the tree.
Almost as a response, the trees branches swayed, though there was no wind. Duvessa nodded, as though she understood and waited.
Soon the other six faeries showed up and sat around the tree.
"As you know we are here to discuss what our course of action during the next attack will be," Duvessa announced, " and our answer will be told by Her."
The faeries looked questioningly. Pierce asked,"She is coming?"
"'She' is here," said a mystical voice that was both soothing yet fierce at the same time.
The faeries looked as a tall woman stood before them. She wore a long green dress with gold trim, had a pale beautiful face, forest green eyes and long golden hair in a braid. Around her neck was a nacklace with seven stones on it, each a different colour. She was too beautiful to be real. She was the Spirit of the Forest.
All the faeries bowed.
"Mistress we welcome you, though you are always with us," Duvessa said humbly, "How might we win this battle?"
The Spirit of the Forest glowed brightly, smiling, and the disappeared. Where she stood laid a nest. The faeries looked around at each other curiously. The Spirit was never very clear but this was the most confusing gift or advice she had ever given.
Duvessa tood up and walked over to the nest and looked in it.
"What's in it 'Vess?" asked Pierce.
"Eggs...Golden Eggs."

Keela flew as fast as her little pixie wings could take her. She had to get out of this village, there were too many rules. She saw a forest up ahead, and flew faster. This could be the place where she could live her life, with no consequences. She flew as fast as possible, and ran into a tree just as she saw another creature.
When she awoke Keela noticed a young nymph staring down on her. She rubbed her eyes and spoke, "Hi, I'm Keela, I'm new to this forest, what's your name?" Once the nymph had told her her name was Maia, Keela decided she needed to learn more about this place.
"Well, as you have probably gathered, I'm a pixie, and I ran away from my village to gain control of my life. How did you come across this village?" Keela questioned.

Kevin kept training with his weapon, except he wasnt trying to cut down the trees, he was trying to train his control of the movement of the string hatchet, in doing do, he was trying to have the weapon aim at a tree, and then quickly change the target to a tree behind him.
Kevin had cut into a few trees, but never did one get fut so far as to fall over. His skills were getting better, but they needed vast improvment, for the dragon attack would come in 2 weeks time. Then Kevin had an idea, he wanted to spar against Thairon.
"My mind is made up. But ofcourse, i will have to get Fiera's approval, and possibly give out some more information on the dragons, just to get to spar against Thairon. But it dosent matter." Kevin said as he walked back to the training grounds, and watched thairon fight and train against others, so hard that his spears kept tending to break after every 20 spars.

Fiera was in the middle of instructing a pixie how to manoever more quickly in the air when she heard someone clear their throat behind her. Turning around, she saw that it was Kevin and nodded. "You look healthier today." she commented cooly.
Kevin had a vey strange request, causing Fiera's brow to furrow in a sceptical look. "You wish to spar with Tharion? He is the army's most talented and strong warrior. I would advise against it, however this is not my decision. THARION!" Fiera barked. He was immediately in front of her, bowing.
"You called, Commander?" he asked.
"Kevin wishes to spar with you. I have already advised him against it, but he seems determined. You are a grown elf. I do not need to make decisions for you." Fiera said simply before walking away to tend to other matters. Tharion grinned.
"Sounds like an easy challenge. Shall we?" he asked, readying his battle stance, a stronger spear in his hands.
"If you render my best warrior incapable of fighting, you will be very sorry!" Fiera yelled over her shoulder to Kevin. "Non-lethal damage only!" she snapped.
"Yes, Commander." Tharion replied dutifully.
~~~~~~~~~~
The rest of her troops in order, Fiera went in search of Duvessa. She hadn't talked to her friend since the night she had told her she loved Tharion. Spotting her under a tree, staring in confusion at a basket of golden eggs, Fiera walked over and sat down.
"Kevin challenged Tharion to a sparring match. It should be an entertining fight." she said with a slight twitch of her mouth which was supposed to pass for a smile. "You look troubled. What has happened?" she asked with concern.
((Kevin, Tharion isn't my main character so you can use him. Just be sure to read his profile beforehand to keep his personality accurate .))
(Alright. I think i got it.)
Kevin also got into a good fighting stance, and tok out the string hatchet, and spun it around like a mace, holdingthe handle, and most of the string, and then spinning what was left of the weapon next to him.
"Kevin, dont get penisy with that weapon of yours, it is very easy to counter."
"Dont get penisy yourself, you dont want to brake your spear in the midst of battle." Kevin replied in the same tone as Thairon, as he saw a glint of fire in his eyes. The battle begun.
Even though the battle had begun, the two didnt move, they both were waiting for the other one to move first, so that they could counter.
a minute passed and Kevin got bored of just standing their spinning a hatchet, so he made the first move in an instant. Kevin released the hatchet after Thairon, unfortunatley for Thairon, he ducked down, when the blunt side of the hatchet was facing down, Kevin quickly changed the angle of the string as the hatchet flew down, bonking his head, non-leathally. In the meanwhile, Thairon slammed his hands down and flung upward, the hatchet in his feet.
"I admire your courage, but this fight isnt over!" Thairon said, as if time slowed down for this convorsation to uphod while Thairon was still in the air.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." Kevin said as he pulled the string to move the hatchet over to a tree, and luckily for Kevin, the hatchet didnt slip out, so Thairon went flying towards the tree. Kevin pulled the hatchet again, this time it slipped out. Tharon rolled forward, then landed his feet on the tree, then flew back towards Kevin, the spear ready to strike his back since Kevin was turned around. Kevin quickly backflipped, and as if time went in slow motion again, you could see Kevin barely dodge the spear from stabbing him, and falling and landing right as Thairon passed. A large thud was heard as the spear was lodged in a tree, and Thairon standing ontop of the spear, fire glaing in his eyes.
"You loose your cool too early in the battle, Thairon." Kevin said, readying his weapon.
"Its time to finish this!" Thairon yelled as he ripped the spear from the tree and under him, rolling fromard since he jumped, and did the fly forward tree trick form before again.
(ill continue this later,lol.)
Duvessa looked up startled. Fiera had spoken to her, though Duvessa hadn't seen her walk up. Fiera repeated her question when she noticed Duvessa looked more confused.
"Well I was at the secret spot for the Guardians because we needed to discuss what our next course of action would be. As I waited for the others, the Spirit of the Forest told me she would join us, which she did once we were all there. She then disappeared and left these eggs. Somehow they are supose to help, but how I am not sure. I mean they are eggs! I don't even know what kind of eggs they are! What creatue lays golden eggs?" Duvessa asked in frustration.
Fiera looked just as puzzled as Duvessa. Duvessa went back to looking at the eggs, then she lite a small fire near them.
"Got to keep them warm if I want them to hatch," she mumbled.
Fiera looked down thoughtfully, trying to think. What creature laid golden eggs? Well, phoenixes were very rare and rose from their own ashes, but they must reproduce more of themselves, musn't they? There were gryphons, but Fiera highly doubted whether their eggs were golden. Then again, certain breeds of dragon had been known to lay golden eggs... perhaps Gold Dragons? Fiera voiced her concerns to Duvessa.
"Well..." she began slowly. "Phoenixes posess healing powers which can aid us, but they are so very rare that no one is quite sure how they reproduce. Gryphons are powerful and can carry riders on their backs, but I'm almost positive that their eggs are not gold in colour..."
Duvessa gve her friend an impatient look, knowing that Fiera was reaching a point to her thought patterns and wishing she would just get to it already. Fiera was usually quite blunt and direct, so this kind of thoughtful musing was unusual for her though it did happen on occasion. Fiera took a deep breath and steeled herself for what she was about to say, unsure how her friend would take it.
"Dragons..." Fiera whispered in case someone overheard them and began to panic. "Duvessa, Gold Dragons lay golden eggs. I know dragons are what we are fighting against, but Gold Dragons are said to be the essence of good. We are not fighting Gold Dragons. We've never had reason to. They have never harmed us, but... dragons take centuries to mature... if these are Gold Dragons within these eggs, they will never grow fast enough to aid us in the next battle. What is the Lady thinking?" Fiera asked, now frustrated.
What was going on here? Were these eggs really Gold Dragons or something else? How on earth were eggs supposed to help them in the next battle?
((posting from work.. if i get caught it's bad jubjub for me))
"I don't know what the Lady is thinking at all. I am only Her Guardian and Her fire essense, not Her mind," Duvessa said gravely, " And you are right, if these ae Golden Dragon eggs, they will never grow in time. The Lady is so mysterious in her ways, we just need to wait out Her plan, but for now, I am going to guard these eggs at the Guardians base. Tell no one of these eggs, especial Kevin. That dragon might be out of him, but I feel he may still be munipulated in some way."
Duvessa then took the basket of eggs and lifted them up. She waited for Fiera to say anything else before flying north to the Guardian's Willow Tree.
"I understand." Fiera said to Duvessa cooly. "But... I happen to trust Tharion immensely. May I tell him?" she asked, her voice steady and unyielding to the powerful emotions for him which overtook her whenever she thought of Tharion.
After being given permission to tell Tharion of the eggs, Fiera left to find him. Training for today was over and all the men and women had dispersed to tend to their own personal matters. Tharion was leaning against the trunk of a tree on the ground and he waved her over. Seating herself, Fiera raised her eyebrows. "Your cheek is bleeding." she observed quietly, wiping the blood away with her thumb. He kissed her forehead, his lips touching the small emerald green jewel permanently attached there before shrugging.
"It isn't serious. I won the spar." he told her with a chuckle. Fiera smiled genuinely, her usually cold, steely grey eyes now filled with warmth.
"As I knew you would. Kevin seems to overestimate himself at times, but he will learn." she replied. Tharion nodded but sighed slightly.
"It was still a challenging fight. He has talent." Tharion admitted.
"Challenging the best warrior of the forest's army is still a rash act." Fiera commented. Tharion chuckled and pulled her closer, allowing Fiera to rest her head on his shoulder.
"Perhaps." he agreed in a whisper.
((Marilyn, if it's not okay for Fiera to tell Tharion, just let me know and I'll edit my post. Kevin, I wasn't sure where you were going with the sparring match but it seems more realistic that Tharion would win since he's been trained rigorously since reaching adulthood by Fiera.))
