Fiera just chuckled and shook her head. She didn't think nearly as many people had clued in as Duvessa thought. Perhaps Granny Oak and the Guardians, but she had put up an iron-tugh exterior for nearly a century. Eventually people came to think her incapable of love... not cruel, just more indifferent.
Through the window, Tharion started to cough a little alarmingly. Fiera looked up at Duvessa. "I'll go back inside and tend to him. You'd do best not to eavesdrop or spy!" she told her friend sternly, knowing full well that Duvessa would have kept watching through the window if she hadn't specifically told her not to.
Fiera walked back into the Healing Tree and filled a wooden goblet with water, taking it over to Tharion. Gently lifting his head and placing the goblet to his lips, the water ran down his throat, soothing the coughing. "Shhh... it's alright, I'm here now." she whispered so as not to wake Granny Oak in the next tree hollow. Hearing her voice seemed to calm him and he drifted back off to sleep.
Without another word, Fiera gently pulled back the cotton flax covers of the bed and quietly slipped in beside him, falling asleep herself.

(Now your sleeping with him? i think this is going too far,lol.)
Kevin walked around the forest, it was very large for a forest. He always felt urgest to just take out his flute and start playing away, but he knew he couldnt. He felt as if a part of his soul was taken away from him. Kevin took out his panpipes and played away, a group of animals gathered around him to sway along with the music. Kevin could only hear the music, not knowing how far it traveled. He then switched it to another melody, and took a breath. "Wake me up in an hour..." Kevin said as the melody made all the surrounding beings near him fall asleep, and soon, he too fell asleep.
Devin's Part of This night Devin flew and flew, he knew it would take a few more hours to get there, and if he stopped, he wouldnt make it before the time limit was up. He didnt want to be found by a reciever dragon, he wanted to show the King himself, in all his new glory. devin discovered he had more dragonic powers than when he was inside Kevin. He could create false memories in people he looks into the eyes of, and he could manipulate the humidity in the air to create water spells and attacks. He was close to his "home" and he wanted to get there fast.

((Yeah... sleeping. As in the literal sense of the word. Geeze, get your mind out of the gutter. Besides, Tharion's too injured to partake in those kinds of activities right now anyway .))

((Well then I fail to see how that's going too far. They're literally just sleeping, lol.))
Sunlight filtered through the window of the Healing Tree, gently rousing Fiera from her sleep. Putting a hand to her mouth to stifle a yawn, the elf sat up, looking beside her expecting to see Tharion sleeping peacefully, but he was no longer there! A bolt of panic shot through her heart. Where was he? He was much too injured to even sit up, let alone walk off somewhere! Fiera's breathing started to quicken... he hadn't passed on during the night had he? No, someone would have woken her up and told her, but still Fiera was terified.
Jumping out of the bed and bolting outside, she came across Tharion, fully healed as though he had never been burned at all, kneeling by a nearby stream with Granny Oak standing over him. How was that possible? Tears pricked Fiera's eyes, but she bit her lip to stop it. Tharion was healed and in that moment, everything seemed right in theworld to Fiera. She stepped forward and put a hand on his shoulder. Granny Oak sighed.
"Child, in all my years of healing I have only heard of something like this happening, but I have never actually seen it with my own eyes. All I can say is that you both had better hang on dearly to each other until the end of your days, because these kinds of miracles do not happen to any two people." she said, throwing up her hands in surrender and walking off back to the tree. Fiera sat down beside Tharion and remained silent.
"Why didn't you wake me?" she finally asked, her voice cracking slightly. Tharion placed his hand over hers.
"You looked too lovely to wake." he said simply, not meaning it as flattery but as a simple truth. "Have you ever heard of such a thing? Two people miraculously recovering from life-threatening injuries purely because they love each other?" he asked, confused. Fiera shook her head.
"Never." she admitted. "If you truly are well, we should take the army off of Brona's hands. I myself am looking forward to training again." she said in a slightly lighter tone. Nodding, Tharion stood up along with her.
"That makes two of us, but... Fiera, I think it's best if things between us stay as they were on the battle field. We cannot be distracted with this upcoming battle and there will be plenty of time for us personally afterwards." he said. It was as if a weight had been lifted off of Fiera. She had been thinking the exact same thing.
"Of course, Tharion." Fiera agreed, glad that he understood this. With a mischevious smile, Tharion bowed formally.
"Yes, Commander." he said in his familiar, impersonal tone before running ahead of her. Smiling faintly, Fiera followed.

Maia wandered through the forest alone. She’d been forced from where she lived by dragons and she had no idea where any other nymphs were. Keeping to the shadows of the trees and keeping close to the stream she continued on. Her eyes were wide open looking around for any danger. She kept a close ear on sounds around her for danger to. Hearing a splash from the stream she was walking next to see jumped back, only to realise that it was her that had made it by kicking a stone into the water. She carried on walking looking for other nymphs.
A while later Maia still had not seen another nymph and she wanted to rest her bare, sore, tired feet. She sat by the stream and washed them a little before returning to the shadows of the trees. Once she was in the shadows of the trees she had a quick check around to make there was no one around and then changed into a small willow tree.
((Hoping this is okay))

((Yes, that's a good post Rei. Thanks for posting. I've been DYING to post here for ages, this is my favourite roleplay.))
As Fiera and Tharion reached the training field where Brona was instructing the troops, Fiera's heart gave a sharp stab of pain. They had lost so many warriors in the last battle, her army was quite literally cut in half. Sensing Fiera's distress, Tharion gave her hand a light squeeze before seperating from her to go speak with Brona.
"But... you were severely burned!" she stammered, flabberghasted. "Commander Fiera was too weak to sit up... how is it possible that you both are in fine health all of a sudden?" she asked, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Granny Oak is a very skilled healer, Brona." Fiera answered vaguely as Tharion nodded. This fact was true in itself, so technically it was not a lie. Nodding, but still looking stunned beyond belief, Brona handed Fiera back her rightful title of Commander and hurried off to replace some flowers around the Mourning Tree.
Tharion took his place in line, the other troops were also stunned at both his and their leader's miraculous recovery, but stayed silent. Fiera gave a wry smile and picked up a stack of spears, tossing them out to every warrior. "Well? What are you all just lazing about for? We have a battle to prepare for! Get yourselves in gear!" she shouted in her crisp, no-nonsense voice.
The return of Fiera and Tharion seemed to spark renewed hope in the forest's army and they trained with new vigor and enthusiasm. As for Fiera and Tharion, their hope came from each other.

Autumn flew fast through the trees away from Southshore village. She wanted to get to the healing tree and fast so she could then be pointed in the direction of where she would be able to ask how she could help. The Healing tree was outside of Sunset Village perhaps a few hours away if she kept flying at this speed and she didn't run into any trouble. To anyone who looked her way she would just look like a fast bird. She dodged trees as they approached fast and she kept a keen eye out for any sort of trouble. She thought she saw something so she sped up now going as fast as her wings could go.
'How much longer?' she thought 'I'm flying as fast as I can.'

As Granny Oak bustled about tending to some minor wounds of a small elven girl, the fluttering of wings overhead could be heard. Quickly dismissing the girl back to her parents, she strode outside the Healing Tree and looked up to see a new face in the Mystic Forest... another faerie.
As the new faerie landed in front of her, Granny Oak gave a kindly smile and ushered her inside. "My, you look dead on your feet child. Let me make you up a tea to keep you going. I'm Granny Oak and you are?" she asked, beginning to boil some water with her magic.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Both Fiera and Tharion trained harder than ever, treating each other no differently than they had before their injuries. "Tharion! Your shoulder is slack! Tighten up!" Fiera barked sharply.
"Yes Commander!" Tharion called back dutifully, immediately improving his posture, allowing himself to hit seven targets 500 metres away dead center all in succession. Nodding her approval, Fiera moved on to a few other troops engaging in some practise combat with them. Her movements were as quick and strong as they were before she had been injured and it seemed to be the same way with Tharion, who was performing superbly himself.
This confused the rest of the army. They had heard rumours of Fiera and Tharion being lovers after Tharion's burns, but by looking at them on the battlefield, one would never know it.
As Granny Oak made some tea Autumn had a quick look around the healing tree.
"Nice to meet you Granny Oak. I'm Autumn," she muttered accepting the tea. After taking a quick sip she continued.
"Do you think you could tell me where I should go if I want to help out in the battle?" she asked.
Autumn wanted to help out in any way she could, which meant she needed to find the person in charge and ask them what she should do. Autumn finished her tea as she waited for the answer at this point intime she was in no rush she'd just flown quite a way quite fast and like Granny Oak had said she was dead on her feet.
Maia changed back from her tree form and continued on along by the stream. After a while she veered away from the stream more into the forest. She continued on not knowing where she was going, what kind of trouble she could be getting herself into, or where the other nymphs were.
Before long Maia saw what was known as the Healing Tree, or what looked like the Healing Tree to her. She wondered if she could get help here. She stayed in the shadows of the trees, sitting down she mulled over what her options were.
Granny Oak chuckled slightly and nodded. "That's very noble of you Autumn. Our forest's army is led by Commander Fiera. She is a very brave and strong warrior who has been willing to sacrifice her own life for the safety of this forest on past occasion. You will have to speak with her about such matters. I believe she can be found at the training field just West of here. Be warned, she has a quick temper and demands absolute perfection from all of her warriors." Granny Oak told her in a very serious tone.
Striding outside to pour out the excess water to nourish the Healing Tree, Granny Oak came across yet another newcomer. "My, The Mystic Forest is supposed to be nearly impenetrable. I shall have to ask Commander Fiera to refortify the barrier spells. Who might you be, dear?" she asked kindly, leading what appeared to be a nymph inside. "I'm Granny Oak, the Healing nymph of this forest."
((Hopefully, I will get to use Fiera again soon...))
As Granny Oak came in with what seemed to be a nymph, Autumn quickly finished her tea and just before darting out the door.
"Thank you," she said and she flew off.
Just west of the Healing Tree was the direction that Autumn set off in hoping it wouldn't be too far. On reaching the Training field, Autumn stopped at the edge and watched them all training for a few moments. She moved some strands of hair out of her face and then walked around asking for Commander Fiera.
As Tharion took a five second break to have a drink of water in order to refresh himself, a young faerie whom he had never seen before approached him, asking for Commander Fiera.
"She's over there in hand to hand combat. She's in a good mood today so you're lucky." he chuckled before getting back to his training.
Fiera was yelling at a pair of male humans when Autumn approached. "DO I HAVE TO HOLD YOUR HAND THE NEXT TIME WE'RE IN BATTLE? ARE YOU CHILDREN OR ADULTS?" she yelled, seemingly beside herself in anger.
"Adults, Commander Fiera." the two men answered quickly in unison.
"Then act like it! We have no time for foolishness! The dragons are due to attack in less than a moon and you two fooling around like a pair of dim-witted trolls could cost thousands their lives! I demand nothing less than perfection! Do I make myself clear?" she snarled dangerously, the small jewel on her forehead glinting in the strong midday sun.
"Yes, Commander Fiera!" They both replied in unison before resuming their training. Turning to see a young female faerie fluttering hesitantly in front of her, she crossed her arms and raised her slender silver eyebrows. "Yes?" she asked, a little harshly. There was no trace of warmth or a smile on her face.
Kevin woke up, it was sunny out. During his hour of sleeping, he acctually did fall asleep naturally. Kevin wandered around the forest until he stumbled upon the training grounds of the warriors. Kevin walked around and watched how they fought, then he saw Fiera talking to another fearie. "Must be someone who wants to join the army." Kevin said as he continued to just walk around, until he stumbled upon a string hatchet, just laying there. Kevin thought this was his lucky day, for he found his close combat weapon. Kevin piked it up and ran away from the training grounds, to start training with his new weapon.
(Note: A string Hatchet is a hatchet attatched to flexible string, or a chain. A hatchet is like an Axe, with half of the handle missing.)
