Ambra walked the narrow streets of Venice alone, her only company being the glowing full moon overhead. She wasn't sure where she was going, or what she was doing, but felt deep inside that she needed to be out tonight.
A lone cool breeze swept by her as she crossed over one of the many bridges, on the otherside she saw a group of people standing there, huddled closely together speaking.
"Are you sure we should hunt tonight? It's the full moon," one whispered.
"It's the only night TO hunt, idiot, they can't be killed otherwise," said another.
Ambra just walked by, not concerning herself with the whispers, but then one spoke which made her stop dead in her tracks.
"All I want tonight is to slaughter that little Angelo one, he's gotten away too many times, but not tonight."
'Angelo? Could they mean the Angelo that I saved that one night? The one that has been looking out for me?' Ambra thought.
"Hey! What are you standing around for?!" yelled one of the guys as he started walking towards Ambra.
"She looks healthy, maybe she oculd be a pre-werewolf snack for us," said another.
Ambra started to back away, three of the men were walking towards her now. Ambra then turned and started to run. The men didn't exactly look like they were going to be handed her a cookie. She ran back across the bridge, and down a small alley. She heard footsteps behind her and they were getting closer. She didn't know were she was running too, but just let her legs take her. Next thing she knew she saw an open door on an abandon looking building. She jumped through it and closed the door behind her.
The room was dark, warm and musky. Ambra couldn't see a thing, the windows must of been boarded up. She made her wat across the room, falling over a few hidden boxes as she went. She heard banging at the door. Those guys weren't going to give up. She kept moving until she found what felt like stairs at the far side of the room. Quickly she ran up them, finding another room. She heard the door on the other side of the room burst open.
"Come here, girly, we won't hurt you," cooed one of the men.
Ambra slipped into the room. Closing the door silently, she looked around. The room seemed to be someone's bedroom. A managled bed sat in one corner, and along the wall there was a dresser with scratches and broken draws. It looked like a bear had been in here and tore the furniture apart.
Then Ambra noticed it, well it was the best way to put it, because she wasn't sure what it was. It was large, black and furry, sitting in the corner of the room. It looked like a large dog, sleeping.
Ambra slowly walked close to it, noticing this large dog, and a slight human resemblance to it.
"What is this thing?" Ambra whispered. She went to go and touch it when it's eyes snapped open, revealing wild pale blue eyes that looked oddly familar to Ambra.
The thing started to growl, and Ambra slowly backed away towards the door, as she got close, she heard the men climbing the stairs. What a night to leave home.

As Isabelle wandered down the dark shadows behind buildngs, she caught a strong whiff of the scent. Immediately assuming it meant danger for her, she bared her fangs and hissed dangerously, whirling around to catch sight of whoever it was that had been sent from the mansion to kill her.
"Woah! Relax, it's Penelope!" a female voice came from the shadows. The woman who was Marla's friend stepped out of the dark and made her presence known. Isabelle dropped her guard but only slightly. She didn't trust any vampire except Armand.
"What are you doing here?" she hissed malevolently. "Why are you following me?" she demanded. Penelope sighed and leaned against a brick building nearby.
"Marla was worried you may get hurt. You know you're dead meat if you leave the Headquarters." she told her simply. Isabelle narrowed her yellow eyes.
"Why does she care? It's not like we're friends!" she spat. "You're a vampire. Shouldn't you be trying to kill me too?" Isabelle asked in a deadly quiet tone. Penelope shrugged.
"Perhaps not, but she does want to be friends with you. Can you really blame her? Marla's only friends are a full vampire and a human who don't understand what it's like to bear the half-breed curse. As for my motives for not killing you... not all vampires are monsters. Most of us are, but not all." she told Isabelle calmly. "You of all people should know that. You were raised by a vampire who seems to love you dearly, even though that emotion is impossible for us to feel, unless..." she trailed off.
"Unless what?" Isabelle growled, her curiosity spiked with fear setting in. What was Penelope getting at. With a pained look, Penelope bit her lip with one fang and shook her head.
"Nothing." she replied vaguely. "I am merely weary from lack of blood. Care for a meal?" she asked. Isabelle shrugged. She was hungry and there were a lot of abusive drunkards near this area who would serve for food. They needed to be punished for their sins anyway.

Penelope and Isabelle managed to snag two drunk men quite easily, and after finishing their meal, Penelope licked her lips and sighed. "You know, I don't have to follow you if you would prefer I didn't," she said. Even though that was a bold faced lie, Penelope knew it had to be said. Isabelle just shrugged, and began stalking away.
After a few minutes, Penelope slinked into step behind Isabelle, keeping her eyes out for any werewolves. Seeing shadows in the distance, Penelope hissed at Isabelle to watch out. But it was two late, two shadows came closer and closer until their silohettes were into view.

Ambra was caught between a rock and a hard place, not knowing which way she would prefer to die, for that's what she thought. Tonight was to be the night of her death.
The dog thing jumped forward and snapped and her leg. Ambra jumped back, but it still snagged her pants, and she felt her skin rip from it's sharp fangs. Ambra cried out in pain as she jumped back again, hitting the wall. Then the door busted open, swinging violently and hitting Ambra square on the head. She slumped down to the ground unconcious. Two men bursted into the room.
"Look here boys, our little snack lead us to our meal," one laughed as he went to pull out a gun, but he was too slow.
The werewolf lunged at them, knocking the gun to the ground, and the one man out of the room and down the stairs. The other one fumbled for a gun, while crashing and banging of a violent fight happened down stairs.
Ambra's vision was blurry as she started to wake up. Her leg was seering with pain which seemed to be slowly crawling up her leg.
"Where is my gun?" mumbled a voice on the other side of the door.
Ambra felt fear snap through her mind. 'Gun?' she thought in panic. She looked around for something to defend herself. All she could see was a broken piece of the wooden bed frame, the one end splintered and looked sharp. She grabbed ahold of it quickly and stood up. The man was still looking around, obviously he was unintelligent seeing as there was a gun laying on the ground not even 3 feet away from him, his back was to her.
Later if you asked Ambra what came over her, she couldn't tell you. All she would be able to say is her body took control. She lunged at the fumbling man. One arm swung around his neck and her legs wrapped around his torso. Her other free hand which held the stake, swung around and pierced the man, right in the heart. Ambra didn't know where the strength came from, (though later she would find out) but she kept plunging the stake deeper into the man. The man in turn cried out in pain. Ambra jumped off him and gave him a swift kick in the back, sending him out the door and falling down the stairs.
Ambra stood there, triumphant. The her head felt light and the world started to become dizzy. She fell back on the bed, and everything went black.

Isabelle stopped dead in her tracks, using her keen sense of smell and hearing to discern the source of the noise. There was no mistaking them. "Lycans..." she breathed.
Without warning, one of them lunged out of the darkness straight at Penelope's throat. With a murderous screech, Isabelle tackled the beast and sank her teeth into its jugular. The taste of lycan blood was sickly and sour, making Isabelle gag as she drained the foul beast of its lifesource. Not able to bring herself to swallow the last bit, she spat the putrid liquid onto the pavement, dying it a deep crimson and the blood bubbling with the taint it was infused with.
Distracted for a moment while she was wiping her mouth, the second lycan lunged at her from behind, tearing her neck practically to shreds with it's razor sharp teeth. She screamed in agony and fell to her knees, the pain making her vision blurry. A roar of rage tore through the night, but this time it was not the voice of the lycan.
As she looked up through her dim haze, Isabelle faintly registered a large dark figure savagely tearing the lycan to shreds, its pitiful moans drowned out by the pure vengeance with which this unknown figure ripped the life out of its body. A searing pain shot through Isabelle's body as she felt increasingly light-headed. She had lost a lot of blood and Isabelle gave a small sigh as her knees gave way and her upper half fell to the ground.
Throwing the dead lycan away to the side as if it had been nothing more than a garbage bag, the figure stopped down and gathered Isabelle into its arms, stroking her long crimson hair lovingly. She could feel the breath of the figure in her ear and a deep voice choked with grief spoke softly to her. "Oh Isabelle... oh, my poor child..." it wept. Despite her fading conciousness, Isabelle's heart skipped a beat.
"Armand..." she whispered faintly before all went black.
((I didn't kill Isabelle off, just to let you know. Christina, you can post what happened from Penelope's point of view if you'd like)).

Penelope saw the two figures come into view. Lycans, large ones at that. Suddenly, one of the Lycans leapt at Penelope's throat. Just before the creature hit her juglar vein, Isabelle flew at the lycan, sinking her small fangs into its tough skin. Then, Penelope's head hit the pavement, and she blacked out.
When Penelope awoke, she was lying in her bed, Isabelle in the bed next to her. "What, what happened," Penelope stumbled on her words. The last thing she remembered was seeing a lycan. Suddenly, she noticed a tall dark vampire standing over Isabelle. Armand, was that his name? She had seen him before, but she couldn't remember where.
Marla hurried in with some blood and a large pillow. She handed the blood to Armand, and put the pillow behind Isabelle's torn face. She looked as though a cat had pounced on her, her light skin was scratched to shreds. Marla then hurried over to Penelope.
"Need anything," she asked. Penelope shook her head, staring at Isabelle intently. This was her fault, if she had been stealthy, the lycans wouldn't have heard them. Why did she have to be so oblivious to everything around her. She watched as Armand stroked Isabelle's hair. She knew his secret, what he had done to Isabelle, made her who she was. But, she knew by the care the Armand felt for Isabelle that things like that needn't be told. They just didn't need to be told.

The world seemed to be spinning whe Ambra opened her eyes the next morning. Her head felt like it was hit by a baseball bat. Then panic set in. Where was she? Looking around in a dizzy panic she saw blurrs of colour. She closed her eyes tight. 'Get a hold of yourself Ambra,' she thought. Breathing slowly, she opened her eyes again. This time the world was clear. She was in the broken bed in the abandon building from last night. She looked around for the giant dog thing that attacked her, instead her eyes fell upon someone she didn't think to see.
"Angelo?" she whispered to no one. There he was, lying in the corner of the room where she originally saw the dog-beast. His chest was bare, peices of cloth laid around him, as though he had ripped it off. He still wore pants, but they were worse for wear, with multiple holes in them.
Ambra tried to stand up, as she did she let out a scream of pain and fell back on the bed. Surprisingly Angelo hadn't woken up. Her leg felt like it was on fire. She quickly rolled up her pants to find a deep gash in her leg. She remembered the dog-thing had bit her. She looked closely at the cut, noticing something was wrong with it. A pure black scab seemed to be forming over it where a normal cut would be red or brown.
What was going on?

Isabelle blearily opened her eyes. She was in Marla and Penelope's room, in Marla's bed. She slowly became aware of Armand leaning over her, stroking her hair gently. She tried to speak but Armand placed a long pale finger to her lips. "Shhh, Isabelle. You're very weak... rest, love." he said softly. Isabelle sighed and nodded, closing her eyes once again.
She was all too aware of the searing pain in her neck and shooting all down her spine. Even turning her head blinded her with agony. When she opened her eyes again, Marla was standing over her with a glass full of blood. The sight sickened her and she tried to refuse but Armand forced her to choke it down. "Do not be foolish. You need it, Isabelle." he told her sternly.

((guh, I didn't mean to end my last post so crappy, but i was at work and had stuff to do...))
The scab reminded Ambra of tar. What would cause a scab to go like that? She didn't even think the wound was that deep, why did it hurt so much? She tried to stand again, and the same pain roared through her. She cried out again. This time, Angelo woke up.
"What are you yelling about?" he asked sleeply, though he talked as though it was normal for Ambra to be there.
"What am I yelling about? Some weird animal bit me last night and I think the wound is severely infected. Plus I have no clue where I am, or why you are here, or why those men tried to attack me last night," Ambra said in a hurried voice, she realized she was starting to go into a panic attack, " My mom.... mom....is prob...probably worried... about.... me."
Tears started to roll down Ambra's face as she tried to make sense of everything, but nothing was.
Angelo moved over and sat beside her, "I'm sorry about the bite."
"Why... are.... you sorry?" she asked.
"Well... that thing that bit you, it was me," Angelo explained, "I'm a werewolf."
Ambra shook her head, "They don't... exist. Stop... making... stories up."
"They do. I am one, and those men that followed you last night, were vampires,"Angelo tried to explain.
"NO! They don't exist!" Ambra yelled. Her life wasn't a horror movie, this couldn't be real. She got up, bit her lip cause of the pain and started walking towards the door.
"You can't go anywhere," Angelo tried to stop her, "You'll do more harm to your leg."
"I don't care, as long as I'm away from your insanity!" Ambra started to limp down the stairs, she got to the bottom alright, but as she crossed the floor of the building, the pain started to become too much. Black spots started to appear in her vision and soon yet again, Ambra fainted to the ground.
Angelo walked up to the fainted Ambra. Picked her up gently and brought her back upstairs to the room and laid her on the bed. He lightly brushed back some of her black and blue hair from her face as he whispered, "You don't believe now, but wait until the next full moon."

Isabelle scowled and choked down the blood reluctantly, feeling a bit more strength wash over her as the blood ran through her body. Licking her fangs and sighing, she laid back down onto her pillow. Armand cleared his throat and addressed Marla and Penelope. "I need to speak with Isabelle alone. I will move her to her own bedchamber." he informed them. Without waiting for a reply, he gently lifted her off of Marla's bed and carried her three doors down to her own room where he laid her onto her own bed and pulled the comforters over her.
Through her haze, Isabelle saw Armand begin pacing restlessly across her room beside her bed, his long cloak sweeping the ground gracefully and twirling flawlessly as he turned on his heel and began pacing in the other direction. After a few moments of this, Armand seemed to have gathered his thoughts and startled Isabelle greatly by letting out a roar and smashing his fist through her wall. Whipping around, his eyes zeroed in on her and he grabbed her shoulders, shaking her slightly although unintentionally, due to his shaking hands. "What were you thinking!" he hissed.
"Armand... you're hurting me..." Isabelle gasped. At her words, Armand let go of her as suddenly as if he had been shocked, although his eyes still blazed with anger.
"You almost died, Isabelle!" he shouted. "You are not immortal like I am!"
"I know that." Isabelle retorted, the blood she had consumed strengthening her enough to sit up.
"Be silent and listen to me!" Armand growled. Isabelle had never seen him like this before and it frightened her terribly. She started to tremble and Armand's eyes softened when he saw this. He sat himself on her bed and embraced her warmly, kissing the top of her head. "I love you, Isabelle. Someday I will lose you and it will destroy me. I want to stall that day for as long as I can." he whispered.
"I know, Armand." Isabelle replied softly, having heard this countless times before.
"It was foolish of you to try and leave the Cruor Headquarters. You're lucky I happened to be nearby when you were attacked. If I had lost you..." his voice trailed away, not being able to voice the rest of the sentence. "Don't ever scare me like that again, you understand?" he asked, although it was meant as an order. Isabelle nodded.
"I won't. I promise, but... don't leave me again." she whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek. Armand brushed it away gently with a tender smile.
"I have learned my lesson as well. I will not leave you again." he promised her.

Amber ran as fast as she could she had a vampire at her heels she knew she had go to get away fast "you can run but you cant hide girly" the vampire said.
There were tears falling down her face as she ran and ran until she came to an ally, she lost him long enough to get out her dagger "come out come out where ever you are " as soon as he rounded the corner she plunged the knife into his neck giving Kanji enough time to rip him to sheds.
She breathed a sigh of relief "it was just a hybrid" she sat down and rested for a bit then she searched him for anything that might be useful to her.
The coat he had on was very good and he had what looked like a small bottle of poison around his neck and a good belt with some pouched with things that might be useful to her. After she had finished searching him she just sat down and rested.

Clary sat in the corner of the room. The old house she was in was creaking in the wind. Clary could swear if the wind blew any stronger the house would fall, still she stayed where she was. Another girl was standing in the doorway of the room with a wooden stake in her hand.
"You really need to get a life Kyarra, stop following me around it won't do you any good," Clary said as she saw a smile creep up on Kyarra's face.
"Not until I kill you for what you did to my family," she retorted.
"I'm too strong, I may not be able to touch you but you cannot touch me," Clary said as she watched the light that was coming through the crack in the dusty curtains dim, it was getting dark.
"Maybe now, but you'll let your guard down soon enough," Kyarra said as she too realised Clary would soon be going outside and she would need to be ready to move and follow her.
It went completely dark in the room and Clary transformed into her cat form and ran out the window as Kyarra hit the wall and ran down out of the house in frustration as she would have to track her down again because she wasn't quick enough to move

Ambra woke, yet again, in the broken down bed. It was night. She sat up in the bed and looked out the window. Clouds rolled past a now waning moon.
'One month', said a voice in Ambra's head.
No it was crazy to think werewolves existed, and even crazier to think she was one... wasn't it? Ambra didn't know what to believe anymore.
The voice inside her head popped in again, 'Trust Angelo, he doesn't want harm to come to you.'
Ambra shook her head. She was so confused, and had no where to turn. Then another thought came to her. Mama. Where her and Nonno and Nonna going crazy, wondering where she was? She didn't mean to be gone this long. Ambra knew she had to get home.
She looked at her leg. She knew she couldn't walk on it, she had proven that earlier. She looked around for something to act as a crutch. Nothing.
"Guess I'm stuck here," she whispered.
Footsteps were coming up the stairs outside the room. Ambra pushed herself back into the corner of the bed, not knowing who might be coming up. Angelo appeared around the door.
"Sorry to have left you," he said, "But I went to go get some food."
He handed her a brown bag. Inside there was a couple slices of pizza that smelt familar.
"You got this from my Nonno's pizza place?" she asked.
Angelo nodded, " I thought you would like food from home."
Ambra bit into a piece and smiled, "Grazie."

When Isabelle and Armand left, Marla lay on her bed and rested. Soon, Horatio came over and stroked her long brown hair. Not noticing, she soon fell asleep. Horatio continued to stroke her hair, and, kissing her cheek, went to his bed and fell asleep.
When the others had all fallen asleep, Penelope snuck out of her room and into Armand's. She noticed he was just leaving. She tailed him, and once they were outside, she slunk up next to him.
"Ya know, secrets aren't good, especially when you keep them from someone you love," she said slyly. Armand glared at her, "What are you talking about," he said. "Oh, nothing," Penelope twirled her hair between her fingers, smiling cooly.

Tokala decided to stay away from the pizza shop for a day, but after a while the urge to see his daughter and former wife again were too strong. He walked down the street that evening, determined to convince them to join him once again.
Tokala walked into the store as a young man with peircing blue eyes was leaving with a brown bag in hand. Tokala brushed past not even giving glance to any person in the building but the woman behind the counter.
The woman looked up, her eyes were red from crying. When she reconized the man she screamed, "WHERE IS SHE? WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HER?"
Tokala was puzzled, " WHat are you talking about?"
"Ambra is gone, you must have taken her, where is she?!"
"I didn't take her, " Tokala said as he turned away and went for the door.
"Where are you going?"
"To find her."
****************************************************
Ambra finished her pizza, grateful for the food now in her stomach.
"Did my mom or grandparents look worried?" Ambra asked.
Angelo didn't say a thing, he just stared out the window.
"Uh, hello?" Ambra waved a hand in front of his face, "I'm talking to you."
Angelo just shook his head, and then said, "Yes, they looked very worried."
Ambra sighed, "Not surprised... but I had to get out."
Angelo gave a look of concern to her, "Why did you leave?"
It was then Ambra's turn to look out the window, why was it the moon fasinated her so? Ambra didn't know.
"I'm guessing you rather not talk about it?" Angelo asked.
"Something like that," Ambra replied, "At least not at the moment."
Angelo then got up suddenly, "Well, we can't stay here much longer. We're moving to a new spot."
Ambra stared at him in disbelief, "And how am I supose to move? I can't walk! Plus, why do we have to move?"
"I'll explain later, bella," Angelo said, and then in a quick movement picked her up as though she were a baby.
