Ambra's eyes widened with terror. Sicily? Were they serious? The thought of leaving the city was insane. Ambra was usually up for things, but leaving her home to hide was not one of them.
"I am NOT leaving the city! Let alone going to Sicily which is at the other end of the country!!!" Ambra crossed her arms, "You guys can go, but I am not being run out of my own city. I'll fight until I die, but I am not leaving."

Armand sighed and shook his head. "I am sorry you feel that way, but I cannot stay here and endanger Isabelle more due to my own pride. You may choose to fight, risking your life, but I choose to flee in order to spare hers. Some things are more important than pride, Ambra," he lectured somberly.
"I can't stay, either. As much as I'd like to fight, you're in much more danger with me around," Isabelle told her friend. "Although you'd be safer in hiding with us. I wish you'd come," she implored.
Ambra didn't budge.
"Well, then I guess this is a farewell. Isabelle, pack your things. We need to depart right away," Armand sighed. Glumly, Isabelle nodded. She had never had friends in her life, and now that she finally made one, she had to leave her.
Within the hour, Isabelle had her things ready and was about to walk out the door. She turned around and looked at Ambra with pleading eyes. "You can still come, you know," she whispered.

Ambra's golden brown eyes met Isabelle's yellow ones. Sadness could be faintly seen in them.
"I can't run with my tail between my legs," Ambra told her, " I have to stay. If I run, Angelo wins, that can't happen. "
Ambra knew her words were probably not comforting. They weren't meant to be. They were the truth. Ambra had business to finish with Angelo.
"We'll see each other again, Isabelle," Ambra told her friend, "Have faith."

"Yeah... bye..." Isabelle sighed. She knew she had to leave. She also knew that Ambra wouldn't come with her and Armand, no matter what she said to try and convince her.
"Farewell, Ambra. It was a pleasure meeting you, as strange as that sounds coming from a vampire. It's a pity we didn't get to know each other better," Armand added, and took Isabelle's hand.
Once they were outside the apartment building, Armand pulled Isabelle into the lightest and most populated area he could find, to lessen their risk of an attack. He murmured softly into her ear. "I'm going to shape-shift and make my way alone. You can't be seen with a silver wolf. It looks too suspicious. Find some way to disguise yourself and meet me at the train station by dusk," he whispered. Isabelle nodded. "If you run into trouble, squeeze this necklace. It has my blood in it. I will know and come for you." He slipped a ruby pendant into her hand. It was the same one he had given to her as a baby and she had thrown on the ground when she found out he had created her.
"You kept this?" Isabelle asked, touched. Armand gave a sad smile.
"I had hoped that you would begin to miss it after a time," he admitted. Before Isabelle could say anything else, Armand had casually walked to a dark alley to shape-shift and took off.
Squinting up at the sun, Isabelle cringed. Armand was going to be in pain for quite some time after standing out here for so long. She crossed her arms under her corset and thought for a moment. He had said to disguise herself. Grinning, she patted her purse with her wallet in it. She had made quite a bit of euros working for Gildo. A new makeover was in order.
The first place she visited was a wig shop. She emerged some time later with several different wigs. This hiding thing might be kind of fun. I feel like an undercover cop, she thought to herself, trying to cheer herself up.

OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting
IC: Penelope looked at Clarissa angrily.
"Why don't you tell me the truth? You came to turn me into a cold blooded killer, like you?"
"No, the truth is: I came here to save you. You're my baby sister, and I wanted to make sure you hadn't died. I want us to be like we used to be, close and...happy. If that takes me living like you, then so be it," Clarissa admitted.
Penelope's eyes widened. She looked at Clarissa this time with love, and extended her arms, embracing her sister in a warm hug. Clarissa smiled slyly behind Penelope, glad that her plan was finally succeeding... ~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Marla got back from Ambra's apartment, she saw her stuff packed and Lady Sophia standing beside it.
"Out. Now. I want you and your pathetic mortal out. This clan is now a pureblood clan," Lady Sophia fumed.
Marla smirked, "You can't kick me out, I'll stab myself," she threatened.
"I. Don't. Care. It may weaken me, but my only threat to power has resigned and left the clan. So if you want to end your life in hopes that I won't let you, think again," Lady Sophia said coldly. She then proceeded to send Marla's bags flying out the window. She was about to push Horatio out the window, when he got up on his own and slunk out.
"What about Penelope? Are you kicking her out too?" Penelope asked.
"No, her sister has proved that she can turn her sister into a more...appropriate ally. They are staying, YOU are leaving," Lady Sophia said. Marla sighed and leapt out of the window, rushing away with Horatio. Maybe Ambra could house her for awhile....
OOC: I hope this is alright. I'm actually planning on Marla finding something while out on her own...

((What? Stay with Ambra? Yeah sure, she seems to be a vampire haven...))
Ambra sighed. Looking around her now empty apartment, she thought she should get around to cleaning. Going to the kitchen sink, she opened up the worn cupboard underneath and pulled out a bottle of bleach. Ambra also grabbed a small pail. Pouring the bleach in the bucket, and adding water to water it down, she started to scrub the blood from the floor and walls. Sure, she liked the trashed murder look, but it was real blood, and that wasn't right. For hours she cleaned, wiping away every last speck of blood she could see or sniff out until the smell of bleach overwhelmed her. Thats when she dumped the pail down the drain and opened her window. Sitting on the ledge, she watched the world go by.

A few hours later, Isabelle was in a curly chin-length blonde wig and a pink sundress with matching heels. She wore blue contacts to cover up her yellow eye colour. She frowned in a reflective window at herself. She looked gross, but at least no one would suspect her to be disguised as a brainless valley girl with an unlimited credit card on Daddy's money.
It was almost dusk and Isabelle needed to be at the train station. She boarded a bus and took it all the way across the city of Venice. At dusk, she arrived at the train station and stood on the platform, looking for Armand.
"I almost didn't recognize you myself, dear. Excellent work," his smooth voice sounded from behind her. Grinning, Isabelle turned around.
"I know. Don't I look disgusting?" she chuckled. Armand smiled back but didn't say anything. He just handed her a train ticket and beckoned for her to follow him onto the train.
"It will be a very long ride," he warned her, throwing her a pillow and blanket. "You'll be glad for these." Isabelle nodded and sat down in her seat, already feeling drowzy. She was completely drained after everything that had happened.
Her last thought before falling asleep was how much she was going to miss having a friend, even if she was a lycan.

As Marla walked with Horatio, she grumbled angrily to herself.
"Penelope can't be a cold-blooded killer...."
"Stupid Armand, now I'm out of a home....."
"I hope Isabelle's alright...."
Finally, Marla stopped when she reached Ambra's apartment. Rushing up the flight of steps, Marla was pleased to only smell one lycan nearby, Ambra.
"Hey, Ambra? Can I come in, it's Marla, Isabelle's....friend," Marla called. She wasn't sure if she was still considered Isabelle's friend, but it was worth a shot. As Marla awaited Ambra's response, she glared menacingly at Horatio, who had been abnormally silent.

Ambra heard knocking at her door and a semi-familar voice. Opening it, she saw Marla and someone else she vaguely remembered from the fight. What could they want?
"Hi..." Ambra said, " Yeah sure, come on in. What brings you back to werewolf county?"

"Isabelle, wake up, love," Armand whispered. Isabelle opened her eyes and yawned. It was dawn and Armand looked rather sickly. The morning sunlight was getting to him. "We're here. Unload your bags," he told her.
Isabelle nodded and pulled her things down from the storage compartments and walked out into the day with Armand. He winced with discomfort and beckoned her towards shade. "Where is this warehouse?" she asked.
"It's quite a trek from here. It will take most of the day. We'd best start walking now."
"What about the sun?"
"I'll be fine. My main priority is getting you to a safe place right now."
Sighing with homesickness and sadness at leaving behind the only friend she ever had, Isabelle trudged behind Armand dejectedly.

Clarissa watched her sister sleep and smiled, eager to continue operation change. So she woke up her sister and began.
"Marla? Oh, hey Clarissa, where's Marla?" Penelope mumbled.
"Oh, well she told me that she was going to go on a little....trip. She decided not to come back though, didn't she tell you?" Clarissa said, pouting out her lip.
"What? She always takes me on her trips," Penelope declared.
"Well, maybe she doesn't like you anymore. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, she told me to tell you to not try and find her, that you were.....what was it she said? 'Better off without her and that you should stop denying who you are'. I guess she wants you to be a vampire," Clarissa stated calmly.
Penelope face fell, and became silent. As tears welled up in her eyes, she vowed to never trust another half-breed again.

Isabelle immediately saw why this warehouse was abandoned; it was dilapidated beyond belief. The aluminum siding was hanging off at the corners and slashed in areas, and it was plain that the woodwork underneath had been eaten through by termites. The roof had holes in it that would need to be patched up so Armand wouldn't be exposed to the sun any more than he needed to. It seemed that every window was either broken or so heavily coated in grime that it may as well have just been another wall. The entire structure seemed to creak and sway in the wind.
"Armand, my weight will collapse this place!" she gasped. "I'm not feather-light like you." Armand chuckled weakly. He really did look terrible. It was a good thing the sun was beginning to set.
"I know. That's why the first floor has been designated to you. You won't fall through the weak floor boards if you're on the ground level," he replied before wincing and stumbling a bit. His skin was now beet red. Major sunburn. Isabelle sighed.
"You're so stubborn!" she accused. He smiled impishly.
"Yes, and I raised you to be just as stubborn as I am," he teased. With an exasperated look, Isabelle ushered him inside the death trap of a warehouse.
It wasn't until much later that night that Isabelle cried softly for the home and friend she had lost...

The side streets were silent as Ambra ran down them. Overhead, an almost full moon shone through the clouds. Two days, that how many days she had to find a place to hide. That's how many days until she found out if werewolves existed. The thought terrified her. Two days until she found out what she really was.
Soon she came to the edge of the city. It truly was the edge, as she looked across the waters to San Giuliano. The only way to get there was boat or train. There was also walking across the Ponte della Libertà , but trying to avoid the trains that crossed it was asking for death. As she looked across the water she spotted a wooded island. She had never noticed it before, but then again, she usually stayed to the opposite side of Venice. It seemed to be empty, as opposed to other islands, which had houses and other buildings. It would be perfect to hide on in the coming nights. All she needed now was a boat to get across.
((OOC: For facts, the bridge, and deserted island do actually exist. I know, I saw them with my own eyes ^-^))
