Ashleigh's CharactersName: Forest Mist Tigerchild Age: 16 Gender: Female Grade: 6 House: Ravenclaw Description: Curly chocolate brown hair which falls down to her waist. Green eyes, which are heavily lashed. Heart-shaped lips and a pale complexion. Short and thin. Usually wears her Hogwarts uniform, but on the weekends wears gypsy skirts and flowery peasant tops. Never wears makeup or really does anything more with her hair than throwing it in a ponytail. Appearance: Personality: Very shy. She is afraid of being around large crowds of people. She doesn't have any close friends and is a bit of a loner. She is very intelligent and studies hard. Gets grades worthy of Hermione Granger. She hardly talks unless spoken to by someone else. Other students normally tease her for being a "loser". She feels very close to nature and animals. Biography: Muggle father. Witch mother. Grew up around both wizards and muggles, so she has a fair point of view about both cultures. She has a little 9 year old sister named Brighid, who her parents suspect will also attend Hogwarts, since she has a tendancy to make objects explode when she is upset or angry. She lives in a muggle community in London, but is exposed to witchcraft from her mother in her home. Pet(s): One female barn owl named Luna, and one male, orange tabby cat named Artemis. What did they bring?: Her normal clothes, along with her uniform. Her wand (14 and 3/4 inches. Mahogany. Thick and sturdy. Cat hair core. Good for transfiguration). She also brought a magical compass which tells her the direction of whatever or whoever she wants to find. Other Information: (None right now. I may add more later, though as I develop the character further).

Members wishing to become professors should PM me first for permission. Otherwise we'd have a thousand professors teaching silly classes running around everywhere, heh heh.
NPCs are teachers who (as far as we know) maintained their position as a Hogwarts professor at the end of Deathly Hallows. Obviously, Snape is dead so the DATD position is open. Slughorn left so the Potions position is open. McGonogall is now Headmistress, so I assume Transfiguration is open.
Unless you mean NPCs you create. Characters besides your main character that you create are considered NPCs and are controllable by everyone. You're only allowed one character solely under your control in RPF's roleplays, and any others you create will be free for everyone to control.
You may also make up a new subject for your character to teach, but it needs to be reasonably "realistic" (at least by Harry Potter standards).
