"What do you want?!" Austin demanded, baring his fangs. He could tell he was a vampire, not a half breed. He did not answer. "Well?!" he screamed, obviously not happy there was a vampire following him. "Someone sent you to kill me, right?" Austin said, realizing he could die at this very moment. Half breeds were the most vulnerable of all creatures, they could die from means of a human, or means of a vampire. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Austin cried, running away.

(Hey, can I use your character for a sentence or 2? if not, ill delete them)
Kevin tried not to cover his ears and show weakness. Kevin knew that he had a fear of vampires, but Kevin didnt want to kill him. Kevin ran and chased after the boy, then jumped and pinned him to the ground.
"NO! DONT KILL ME!!!" the boy shouted, Kevin put his hand on his mouth. The boy looked at Kevin wildly.
Kevin took out a note book and wrote down a few sentences. The boy read them aloud.
"I am not trying to kill you. The reason I wont speak is because i CANNOT speak."
Kevin got off, and the boy stood up.
"Oh, sorry about that, its just the fact that you were chasing me. My name is Austin, by the way. So you cant speak?"
Kevin shook his head in a "no" fasion, even though Kevin was lying about not being able to speak. Truth be told he didnt like talking to people, even in his mortal days. Kevin then wrote a few more things down and handed them to Austin.
"Do you know where the Cruor Clan's mansion is? Umm, not really, i dont affialate myself with other vampires."
Kevin wrote something down again, took out a whistle, and handed both to austin. Kevin then ran off, onward to the mansion.
"If in danger, blow this whistle." The note said.

Thane looked up at the large mansion in Venice Italy he was about to enter. He wondered how Sophie became the leader of the clan. He had been out of the loop for a good 200 years, wondering the world in search of something fun to do.
He entered the meeting room. He was among the last to arrived. He look up to the front to see Sophie, the old clan leader, Conrad or something and a half-breed. He noticed most of the vampires present were glaring at Conrad or the halfbreed. He looked up to see that Sophie was about to speak so he settle down for the long haul.

(Hey gage, its Armand and sophia...i think.)
Kevin had found the mansion, it was beautiful. It was extremley larger than the house he once lived in, whichc was only a tenth of the size of this mansion here. In fact, if a few towers were added, and a moat, it could pass off as a castle. Kevin opened the front door slightly, turned into a fox, then entered.
He was in the grand hall, where every other vampire was, probobly for a meeting. all eyes shifted from a man just going to sit down, to him. He could see them all sniffing, then, one stood up.
"Hey! He is the one who killed Nerlom!" The standing vampire yelled, then a very shrill shreik was heard as the clan leader stood up and forced the man who just started yelling down with the shreik. Murmur started goin around as the clan leader Strut down the center of the main hall towards Kevin, as he changed back into his vampire form.
"You have killed one of our clan members, a very out going and willing to do anything vampire aswell. what do you have to say for yourself?"
Kevin did not reply.
"ANSWER ME!!!" She yelled, slapping Kevin across the face.
"A clan of such high priority dosent deserve someone who was killed with ease, and someone who is dimwitted."
"I will take that as both a compliment, and an insult. Yes, we are filled with smart people...somewhat" She said, looking back at the half breed sitting next to a male vampire(Sorry Ashleigh.) "But the fact that he was in the clan, and the fact that members are picked out by special scouts, you are calling our scouts dumb. I should kill you where you stand, but seeing as you met Nerlom, he probobly wanted you to join, am I correct?"
"Yes, he asked me to join several times, I declined the first few, and after he died, i decided I should check out the clan he was talking about."
"Well, take a seat then. There is an important announcement i need to make. And dont fool yourself for a second that I wont punish you later for this interuptance." She said in a whisper.

((Yeah, but his character doesn't know that. He's old friends with Lady Sophia back before she was the leader of the clan so he calls her Sophie. As for Armand, his character doesn't know his name so it's natural that he mix it up.))
As Lady Sophia strode elegantly up to the carved oak podium to address the large assembly, her vampiric eyesight caught a glimpse of someone she had not seen in over two centuries. Her slender blonde eyebrows raised delicately in surprise but she decided that she would wait until after the meeting to address him. A harsh cold glare from her immediately settled a deadly silence upon the room.
"Fellow vampires and... half-breeds." she added in distaste. The rest of the vampires shot nasty looks at Isabelle and Armand, who placed a hand protectively on her shoulder. "As we all are quite aware of, the lycan population is dwindling due to their disorganized brutality and mindless killing. Now is the time to strike, I believe and wipe out the entire lycan population... or what is left of it." she corrected herself with a rather evil sneer. "The Cruor Nox Noctis clan is the largest vampire clan in all the world, housing over ninety percent of the world's vampires, with clan houses in every major city and country."
"Is she just going to brag all night or is there a point to this?" Isabelle muttered to Armand. He placed a finger to his lips to quiet her.
"Hush Isabelle. Be patient." he whispered back to her. Lady Sophia continued her speech.
"I have decided to choose a handful of promising vampires in order to go out and hunt down the remaining lycans. I have taken the liberty of locating the headquarters of all the remaining clans in Italy. We will start with them and move further out from there. Having every single vampire of the Cruor undertake this task will only result in chaos and confusion. It may also cause the humans to retaliate against us, which although easily taken care of is still an unnecessary complication. Our fleeting presences keep them frightened of us so let us keep it that way, shall we?" she explained as many of the vampires nodded their agreement.
"Do you know who she is choosing?" Isabelle asked Armand quietly. Armand just gave her a knowing grin and once again, placed a finger against his lips.
"The chosen vampires who I have handpicked, feeling them capable and worthy of undertaking this crucial task are as follows: Nestaph Ventur, Madam Lacrissa Laockhart, Monsieur Armand De Lustus..." at this, an immediate uproar rose up from the vampires. Armand, the filthy traitor? Armand, the vampire who gave up his clan title to raise a half-breed? It was an insult! The next few names went unheard as the shouting continued. A few vampires made attempts to rip out Isabelle's throat but Armand swiftly rendered them incapable of walking, let alone attacking anybody.
"It's alright, Isabelle. I will not let them harm you." he told her as he slashed a chunk out of a vampire's face who had tried to get at her. Isabelle hissed, her short glinting fangs a mere children's plaything compared to the long deadly fangs of the vampires.
"SILENCE!" Lady Sophia snapped and immediately calm was restored. Every vampire in the room was terrified of this powerful, cruel woman with Armand being the only exception as far as Isabelle knew.
"I have one last name... Thane Holderhek." she finished quietly with a piercing gaze at her old friend, hidden among the other vampires. A murmer went through the crowd. Thane Holderhek? Hadn't he disappeared for the last two hundred years? The younger vampires had never even heard of him. "This meeting is adjurned." Lady Sophia finished quietly as the vampires all filed out of the room. "The chosen vampires will accompany me to my private study. That is an order!" she hissed dangerously, her long billowing red satin gown sweeping the polished hardwood floors as she strode out.

Order. She ordered him. The last person to order him died less than 10 seconds later. Not that he minded the job, no he loved the idea. But it was the fact that she ordered him that made him angry. She should know better.
Oh well, he was almost to her study. He looked down the short hallway to see large oak doors. He could hear the other vampires and he could practically feel Sophie glaring at the door. He smiled. This would be fun.

OOC: It's alright, Kevin.
Kevin had given Austin a whistle, then left. There was a note. "If in danger, blow this whistle." Austin looked at the note. "What the hell?" Austin mumbled aloud, pocketing the note. "I suppose he wants to look after me." he thought, going home. "I wonder what the Cruor Clan is anyway." Austin said, resting in one of the armchairs in the library in his home.

Lady Sophia knew that Thane was dawdling on purpose. He always was the only person ever willing to defy her, if only in small ways. She didn't like it at all. "One moment please." she told the other vampires who were gathered in her study before gracefully striding out of the room. She knew Thane was lingering by the door, listening for her reaction to his deliberate disobediance. She was vastly intelligent, sharp and strong and she would make sure that Thane knew it.
"So you disappear for two hundred years, not a trace of you left on this earth and suddenly you decide to return and greet me by refusing to acknowledge my authority." she hissed angrily, facing Thane outside in the hall. "I think I of all people deserve an explanation for your absence." she snapped, crossing her arms and glaring down her long slender nose at her old friend.

Thane was quite surprised. Not that she was mad at him, no. Infact he loved the way he could rile her up so much. What suprised him was that she could somehow look down at him when he was a foot and a half taller than her. Not many people can do that as not many people are over seven feet tall.
"Hello muffin," Thane said as he kissed both of Sophie's cheeks and pushed past her. He shrode calmly to Sophie's chair and sat down. He looked back at Sophie to see her still standing where he left her, glaring at him, still. "I beleive I left a note."

Kevin chased after the leader of the clan, right before she entered the room, he had caught up with her.
"What do you want?"
"I want...*huff*... to...*pant* join the clan."
"And what makes you think I let just anyone into the clan?!"
"Ill prove myself...just, please, let me join."
"And how do you plan to prove you are worthy enough to join the prestigeous Cruor Clan?"
"With this... special forces you are creating, to take down the last of the lycans. Whatever it takes, i will do whatever it takes to join this clan!"
"Fine! But dont expect anything less than the other newbies to the clan, you got that?"
Kevin nodded as she opened one of the doors to let him pass, Kevin grabbed the other door, and did the same hand motion/gesture of "Ladies first." Kevin smirked as she walked on through, Kevin following.
Soon after everyone arrived, Lady Sophia gave her speech.

((Well actually, only exceptional members of the Cruor clan were chosen by Sophia but I guess for the sake of this roleplay, we can have all the vampires in the roleplay be called in. If you'll notice, Isabelle wasn't even permitted entry even though she's my main character. Kevin will need to join the clan first, though.))

Ambra was wiping down the counter of her family's pizza shop. The shop was close to closing for the evening, though no one but Ambra was in the shop. Her mama, nonna and nonno were upstairs preparing a memorial dinner, for tonight was the anniversary of Ambra's father's disappearance 15 years ago. Ambra sighed as she thought about it. She missed her father even though she had known him for a very short time. She still remembered him telling her bedtime stories when she was little about fantasy creatures and myths which now absorbed her life.
Ambra walked out from behind the counter and went to go put up chairs around the cafe-sized tables at the front when her mama called down to her. "Ambra dear, close up quickly, dinner is soon."
"Yes Mama!" she yelled in reply.
Ambra picked up the first chair and as she set it down on top of the table she looked at her reflection in the window. Staring back was a sadden half italian, half native canadian girl with long black hair with blue streaks and golden eyes. Her mama said she looked much like her missing and assumed drowned father. Ambra picked up another chair and set in on the table when she heard a crash outside. Startled, yet curious, Ambra went to the door and opened it. Looking around outside Ambra saw someone running towards her in the pale cresent moonlight. Coming closer she saw it was a young man, early twenties. He looked scared like something was chasing him. She heard another crash. The area was known for mafias and maybe this guy was running from hitmen.
"Come inside," she whispered to the young man as he got close, " Hide behind the counter."
The young man nodded and ran past her and jumped over the counter. Ambra locked the door and switched the open sign to closed and turned off the lights. Going back to the counter she saw shadowy figures run by. They slightly paused by the store front, but then continued on. The sight of them gave Ambra a chill, something was unnatural about them. After a few minutes the man behind the counter got up.
"They are probably long gone now," Ambra told him in the dark.
"Grazie," he said, "You have saved my life. My name is Angelo, and I am in your debt."
"I'm Ambra Fawn, and you owe me nothing. The mafias go after people all the time, you are probably innocent of what they accuse you." she said as she turned on the light.
She finally got a good look at the man, he was defiantely early twenties, with black curly hair and pale blue eyes. He seemed scruffy looking, but Ambra thought him kind of cute. A serious look crossed his face.
"That was no mafia after me." he said, "That was vampires."
"Vampires?" Ambra said, she had heard the legends of the immortal undead and how they ruled the nightlife of the city, but never believed.
"Yes, vampires, they hunt my kind, but now I must go, but I won't forget I still owe you, Ambra Fawn," Angelo said.
He unlocked the door and left, leavng Ambra confused. What did he mean by 'his kind'?
((is that an okay first post?))

((That's a great first post, Marilyn .))
Maria hissed after Thane's back, fuming. He disappears for two hundred years without saying goodbye, leaving her quite alone and angry and now he returns and apologizes by challenging her authority! The madness of it all! Then again, Thane was never really considered 'sane'. She followed him into the room and glared coldly at him before handing out pieces of paper with street names and addresses written on them. "These are the locations of all the remaining lycan clans in Italy." she said tersely. Armand recieved his paper and raised an eyebrow.
"I assume that Isabelle is not permitted to accompany me on this task, Lady Sophia?" he said calmly. Maria's lips tightened and she gave a curt nod.
"You assume correctly, Armand." she replied cooly. Armand nodded politely, but cleared his throat.
"Very well, Lady Sophia but unless Isabelle's solid protection here while I am gone is guaranteed, I cannot accept this task." he said smoothly. All the other vampires gasped and hissed at him. How dare he refuse Lady Sophia's orders for a mere half-breed! He was lucky she had the kindness to keep him alive and within the clan for all these years. Lady Sophia's eyes narrowed dangerously.
"The half-breed will come to no harm within the walls of these headquarters... however, I cannot promise her safety if she chooses to venture past those boundaries." she snapped. She had known that Armand would have raised the issue of that wretched girl. Hopefully this would appease him.
"Certainly, Lady Sophia. Isabelle will not leave this premises during my absence." he assured her, as if she cared in the slightest whether Isabelle died or not. The only reason she set any store for the girl was because her death would put Armand in a very foul mood and then he wouldn't be very good company to her during the day, now would he? "Does anyone have any concerns about the locations they've just been handed?" she barked to the rest of the assembly, baring her fangs as she did so.

Kevin looked at the adress on the sheet of paper, he had no clue where it was, or how to get there, but he was sure that his smell and instinct would lead him there. Kevin changed into his fox form and headed out of the room, keeping the paper in his mouth as he obediantly went to the location provided by Lady Sophia. Not caring if she still had things to say, when he got out of the room he dashed out of the mansion and looked back up at the mansion, seeing the shadow of Lady Sophia in one of the windows. Kevin could tell she was looking right at him. Again, not caring of what she was doing, Kevin dashed around, until he found the distinct smell of the lycans. He was where he needed to be.
