This is where you'll be able to create your character profiles. Pay close attention to everything in both this thread and the roleplay thread before creating your character.

Races
Every character has a race. Here is a description of the ONLY races you can be in this roleplay, along with a brief description.
Elves: Long pointed ears, large almond shaped eyes that are almost luminescant and protuberant. Thin and short, however elves in D&D are rather frail and physically weak. They do have excellent precision, speed and balance though. They are easily the most physically attractive race as well with their eerily unearthly beauty and mysterious customs. Their average lifespan is 700 years, reaching maturity at 110 years.
Half-Elves: This race is half-human, half-elf, Usually the product of a short-lived romance between an elf and a a human. Usually accepted in both elf and human communities, but never truly considered one of their own. They usually live longer than the average human, but less than the average elf, so about 110 years, reaching physical maturity at about 20.
Dwarves: Dwarves rarely if ever reach 5 feet tall and are muscular and stocky. They make up for their height with their bulk. They are a stubborn, strong-willed race and usually bicker a lot with elves, however in the case of the elves being in peril, the dwarves are always the first to be at their side, defending them and vice versa. Dwarves prefer to live in underground tunnels and create things out of rock and metal. They are physically strong and tough. Living to about 400 years and reaching maturity at 40 years.
Halflings: Halflings are short, dainty forest dwelling creatures. Due to their size, they are usually quite good at sneaking around and fitting into small places. They are also very crafty and good with machinery and building. They basically look like a very small human. Living to about 100 years and reaching maturity at 18.
Gnomes: Gnomes are about the same size as a halfling, but look more like elves than humans. They are a feisty, fun-loving race and really just like to have a good time and live the best that they can. They are tricksters and like to play practical jokes but it is all in good fun. They are generally not mean-spirited or voilent. They live to about 200 years and reach maturity at about 70.
Humans: Humans are by far the most adaptable and versatile race, taking bits and pieces from every culture and making it their own. It is because of this that they are suited to almost anything and can learn to be skilled at almost anything. They look exactly like the average human in real life and reach maturity at 15 years of age, usually living to about 80 years.
Half-Orcs: Half orcs are half-human, half-orc and are usually the product of rape. Orcs are so brutal and grotesque that they are actually considered a monster and not a race, however half-orcs have some sort of human intelligence (though very little) and therefore are classified as a race. Slightly smaller and with slightly more human facial features, half-orcs are very tall, very broad, and very strong. However, they are feared by most other races. Not very bright, they cannot read or write and rely on their brawn to survive. Due to their brutal heritage, they reach maturity at 14 years and rarely ever live to see the age of 75.

Classes
Rogue: Rogues are good for being sneaky and cunning. They are adept at getting into tight areas and sneaking into forbidden places with ease. Halflings tend to be best suited to this class.
Bard: Bards are musical wanderers who are skilled in song, dance, acting and story-telling. They are useful for keeping the morale of a party up, but pretty much useless everywhere else. Gnomes are best suited to this class.
Fighter: Fighters are all brawn and muscle in battle. The heavier the weapons and armour, the better. They are incredibly strong and able to withstand a lot of damage. However, they have no magic available to them and rely on spellcasters and potions for healing. Dwarves are best suited to this class.
Barbarian: Barbarians are also all about physical combat but unlike fighters, they have absolutely no capability of planning ahead. They just go for it without thinking about the consequences. A barbarian is not able to read or write. Half-orcs are best suited to this class.
Druid: A druid uses the power of nature as a source for their magic. They specialize in healing and summoning and not so much offensive magic. Elves are best suited to this class. Druid armour and weaponry is usually made out of natural materials, raher than metals.
Sorcerer: A sorcerer is born with magical abilities and learns to hone that power over time. They do not need spellbooks. They specialize in a combination of offensive and defensive magic. Elves and humans are both well-suited to this class. Sorceres wear little to no armour.
Wizard: Unlike a sorcerer, a wizard is not born with magical abilities and chooses to learn selected magic over years of hard studying and continue to learn through spellbooks. They specialize in offensive magic. Elves, humans, half-elves, and gnomes are all well suited to this class.
Cleric: A cleric uses the power of their deity as a source for their magic. They can be either good or evil depending on the deity they worship and spend much of their time in prayer. They specialize in healing and plane shifting (though only very powerful clerics can plane shift). Any race except half-orcs can become a cleric.
Ranger: Rangers are a light warrior with the added bonus of having a few spells and the ability to navigate wild areas easily. They are skilled in ranged combat but are able to do quite well in melee comat as well. Forest-dwelling races are best suited to be rangers but any race is able to become one (yes, even half-orcs).
Monks: Monks are all about muscle and combat, though are different from fighters because they use no weapons, only their own physical power and strength. They are incredibly fast and agile and have incredible precision, self-control and discipline. Any class except half-orcs are best suited to this class.
