Welcome!

Welcome to Sunset Valley, a bustling little neighbourhood in the heart of Sim Land. Sunset Valley is the perfect place for any kind of Sim, whether you are an avid gardener, an up-and-coming star or simply a new family trying to find a nice place to settle and raise your children.
There's lot to do and discover, and plenty of friends (and enemies) to make.
Whether you're looking for love, friendship, fame, or something else entirely, Sunset Valley has it all.
Rules
1. All forum rules apply. Read them!
2. Read the Guide to Roleplaying stickied at the top of every board. It contains extremely important information about the kind of roleplaying we expect from our members.
3. Your character cannot start out younger than a teenager. You may create one NPC to be your character's guardian if you start out as a teenager. You must start out single. Partners and children are something you earn in the roleplay.
4. Teen pregnancies and other mature themes are allowed, but remember the forum rules. Keep it PG-13, people. For the sake of avoiding any heated ethical debates, abortions are not allowed.
5. Adoptions, same-sex marriages and basically everything else you can do in the game are allowed in the roleplay, but don't godmod.
6. Death flowers or ambrosia or life fruit or any other device to remain youthful longer and/or cheat death are not allowed. You may grow these plants, cook them and consume them, but they'll have no effect on your character's lifespan.
7. Do not start off filthy rich, buying and doing whatever you want. I used to have to put regulations on EVERYTHING in other roleplays I created because the roleplayers were too childish to use their brains. I trust I won't have to do that here, so please just use your head and think about whether what your character is doing is realistic and true to the game or not. This applies to getting promotions, building relationships, gaining money and new items, etc...
8. You may choose any career you want for your character (including ones from expansions), but you must start at level 1 and work your way up slowly.
9. Your characters will all age and eventually die. There's no way to get around this. We'll be measuring ages by the Normal setting on TS3. All Sims will die at 92 days old. When your Sim dies, you can carry on through one of their children or make a new character entirely, it's up to you.
10. Time needs to progress forward so we know when to age our characters. The date will start at Week 1; Sunday and progress forward from there. Please remember to put the date on all of your posts.
