Séanait got swept up in the moment. Battle commands were being called out and guards were moving outside. Not wanting to let a battle get away from her, Séanait ran out of the hall. She briefly stopped to grab her weapons she left just outside the door.
Running out to the battle area, Séanait saw many undead. More than she had ever seen before. Setting an arrow into her bow, she started to take out undead. It took many of her arrows, as the sharp points barely affected them, but a few fell at her shots.

The setting was fuzzy, everything a greyish color but one little thing. Bright red, he could tell the color through the blurs, but that was just about it that Kevin could see. A dream, another memory? Kevin wasn't sure what this was. All he could comprehend was the battle cries he heard which woke him from his daze. Kevin was in the same place that he had fallen to his knees when he told the gaurd about the undead. The sound of echoing clangs of weapons against metal was sounded. Did these undead have armour? Or were arrows flying into swining swords? Kevin couldn't understand what was going on, but he knew that his message had gone through, and the vilage would now be protected by the gaurds and the queen herself. then it hit him.
"Dangit!! Dang Dang Dang Dang DANG!! I forgot to disenchant that flower! What evil could arise from one whose roots can travel so far I do not know, but right now I should help with the battle. Perhaps its time to test out some of my new tricks!"
Kevin rushed over to where he could see the battle taking place. The gaurds were holding them off fairly nicely, but they were backing up every now and then. No...there couldn't be this many undead could there? The flower mentioned a few, but mabey...just mabey that squad of undead I was noticed of was just a backup group headed to help the current leigon of undead ravaging. No, impossible. Mabey the rest just appeared to fight off against us. But this many undead would need more than their one goal of bloodthirst to ravage on in an orderly manor...mabey there is somethign here controlling them? Kevin's thoughts kept racing as he watched the battle. He climed up the nearest tree he could find and out of the top he used his magic to manufacture a platform for him to watch the battle from. aerial assaults of magic would help in this battle.
At first, he had to look around, but the forestine covered up everything in his view except for the current battle scene. He noticed that when one zombie fell, another took its place, and another took that ones place, and so on. It was like they were multiplying, but what shocked Kevin the most was that it wasn't just the zombies of humans in this fray, but zombies of boars and other animals found in the common forest. He heard some whizzing and turned toward the direction of which the sound came. Arrows flew toward him, around 3 it seemed to him. He was able to deflect one, while one other missed and the last one struc his shoulder.
"What's this...? They are using bows and arrows now??!" Kevin shouted as he turned to see a few zombies in the tree tops with bows and arrows. "They are being controlled...by something, but by what?" He asked himself as he shot a few water darts toward them, trying not to damage the forest for if the forest was not there, fire would be the better option. The water darts were effective in making them fall from the treetops, but he doubted they did any damage. This was the largest assault so far, and evin wondered when it would end and how it would end.

Caelic urged his mount forward, galloping towards the source of the undead. There were so many of them. They couldn't be acting on their own. Something hd to be controlling them; however, Arya had no time to contemplate what was causing them to attack. Right now, she needed to focus on defending her people.
She raised her staff as Caelic charged his mount through a pack of undead. The horse trampled a few, but more tried to clambor up into the saddle. Arya murmured a chant and a powerful healing spell hit the one closest to her; it had grabbed onto the hem of her dress. Shrieking, it fell to the ground, deanimated. Arya grinned in satisfaction. And they say healers can't fight... she thought to herself.
"Arya, behind you!" Caelic thundered. Turning her head, she frowned as another undead had made its way onto the rump of their mount. Another healing spell caused enough damage to deanimate it.
She managed to destroy most of the undead surrounding them with combinations of smite evil and healing spells, but eventually, even her strength to cast spontaneous spells was dwindling. Curse it... there's just too many of them... she thought to herself. "Caelic! Let me dismount!" she called to him.
"Are you cracked!!!" he screamed. "You suicidal wench!"
"Fine! I'll do it myself, then," she sighed, leaping off the galloping horse. She stumbled only slightly, using her staff to help her balance. Immediately, swarms of undead came after her, but she used her staff as a bludgeoning weapon. Unfortunately, just hitting them wasn't going to kill them, but she could hold them off long enough for reinforcements to get themselves together.
((Honestly, I'm not sure exactly how accurate this is for a cleric. I'm sure Chris or Anthony will call me out on anything that isn't right, though. ))

This is useless, thought Séanait as she let the last of her arrows fly. Many undead had fallen, but many more were still standing. Throwing her bow to the ground, Séanait looked around. A little ways off she saw shovel leaning against a village hut. Running, she grabbed it just in time as an undead came up from behind her. Swinging with all her might, she struck it in the head. The bludgeoning damage knocked it's head sideways with a crutching of bones. The undead shivered and collapsed to the ground. Séanait spat at the body.
"Rest in pieces," she said as she turned the shovel sideways and brought it across the undead's neck, severing body from head, preventing it from being reanimated.
The battle went on. Séanait must of been an odd sight, waving a shovel around, but soon everyone saw she was taking more undead down than anyone else with her weapon of choice. Maybe there was something to be learnt there.

From the small room he had rented at the Inn, Cleary could hear shrieks and cries.
"Is there a fight in the market, Gunhilda?" He asked his warty familiar
"Not exactly..." Was the croaked response he received.
He turned to the windowsill where she sat and peered out over the small town.
"Oh Gods..." Were the only words he could muster. Below him the town was in turmoil. Villagers fled for the safety of the inner walls as soldiers and mercenaries battled hordes of undead. Even the Queen and King Caelic were embroiled in the fierce battle.
"They need your help, Cleary." Gunhilda chided him
"Ha ha, no they need me to stay here and umm... Study! I must prepare myself for the next incursion, I must prepare helpful spells for the next attack" Cleary sat on the bed with his back against the wall shivering gripping his spellbook to his chest.
"I don't think there will be another attack" said Gunhilda from her perch on the window.
"Why have they beaten the zombies back?"
"No, but if it keeps going like this they'll all be dead within the hour. The elves are just hacking away with their swords and arrows but nothing happens"
"Swords and arrows?" Cleary's mind halted. "That won't work. Pheneas Zartalbatt's Compendium of Forbidden Magicks clearly states that weapons of a bludgeoning nature are much more effective than stabbing."
Gunhilda hopped down from the window. "I think you should tell them that"
Cleary gulped and took to his feet Yes he thought to himself I must go down there and help. His hands shook on the railing as he climbed down the stair with Gunhilda on her familiar shoulder perch. The sounds of battle became louder and louder and the cowardly wizard's knees began to shake as he stumbled out of the door. All around him swords struck rotting flesh and claws raked at at armor. His head swam and he clutched to his staff. Weakly calling out "According to Pheneas Zartalbatt's Compendium of Forbidden Magicks your tactics are faulty! I.. I have some important research that relates to the current battle!"

Arya's long, pointed ears pricked in the direction of someone shouting over the chaos. Apparently, he wasn't getting his point across very well. A glance over in the direction of the voice revealed that it was Cleary. She shook her head with a sigh. He wasn't going to accomplish much of anything stuttering book quotes.
"Pheneas Zartalbatt's Compendium of Forbidden Magicks..." Arya murmured to herself. She knew that book. It was in Arya's personal library. It stated that undeads of this nature were best dealt with using bludgeoning tools, if you had no access to magic. Arya needed to help Cleary get his message across to her people.
"Cathaloon!" she called, running towards him, hitting undeads as they attacked her on her way towards him. When she reached him, she grabbed his arm and pulled him behind a wall, out of sight for the moment. "You won't accomplish anything if you merely recite the book. Keep it short and simple. Now go," she advised, running off to rejoin the battle.
A nice fellow, but I don't know why on earth Ilk'Na chose him... she thought to herself as she continued to fight, with Caelic muscling his way towards her, yelling about Arya being a crazy lunatic.
